On the Gradina peninsula there is Lake Zmajevo oko filled with seawater. This lake is considered a natural bioreactor in which biochemical processes take place. A special day for the Rogoznica region is the Feast of Our Lady of the Chapel 02.07. when a procession takes place with the figure of the Miraculous Mother of God. The procession goes by sea, and many people in the boats follow the figure of Our Lady. Young boys and girls swimming with Our Lady's image fulfill their vow. Rogoznica is located in central Dalmatia, on the coast between Sibenik and Split. The Adriatic Highway passes through the town. Divulje International Airport is just 25 km away.
